Every editing and mentoring relationship is different, depending on what you’re looking for, and where you’re at in your writing. Please contact me so we can discuss.
In broad terms, I’m happy to provide:
Mentoring is a two-way street, and I have a busy day job to juggle. I therefore retain the right to determine which mentoring relationships I will take on. I generally charge $50/hour.
Each event is tailor-made, so please contact me to discuss what you have in mind, and we’ll go from there. I generally charge $100/hour (plus travel costs, if applicable) for events.
An interactive session that could be generative (write new stuff!) or critique-oriented (revise the stuff you’ve written!)
I can adjust to a specific theme or audience, younger audiences included.
If you’d rather have less poetry and more talking, I’m happy to present on topics related to writing, or to executive leadership, including:
Crisis communication;
Working with local governments;
Strategic planning;
Non-profit leadership;
